A man suffered serious but not life threatening injuries in a single car crash which closed the A15 in both directions at Yaxley this morning, Tuesday November 17.
The collision took place at Waterslade Road at around 7am and was cleared at 9.10am.
Police said that contrary to initial reports a single vehicle was involved, a Peageot 206, which had rolled over.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called just after 7am. We treated one patient, a man in his 40s, who suffered a pelvis injury.
“He was taken to Peterborough City Hospital for further treatment.”
The Stagecoach Buses B service was delayed due to closure at Norman Cross and Yaxley was not served.
Congestion tailed back to the A1260, The Serpentine Roundabout as police directed traffic.
