Man reported for driving without due care after A15 in Glinton collision

A man has been reported for driving without due car after a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the A15 in Glinton.

The man has been summonsed to court after the collision by the roundabout next to Mcdonald’s.

A spokswoman for Cambridgeshire police said: “We were called at 5.51pm yesterday (Wednesday, April 23) with reports of a collision on the A15 at Glinton involving a black BMW motorcycle and a silver Volkswagen Golf.

“The motorcyclist was taken to Peterborough City Hospital with minor injuries.

“The driver of the Volkswagen has been reported for driving without due care.”

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 5.47pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle.

“We sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance.

“A man in his 40s had suffered arm, leg and hip injuries and was taken to hospital.”

The man was said to be in a stable condition.

There were delays on the road until 7.39pm while the vehicles were recovered.
