Long delays on Frank Perkins Parkway due to swans

Swans were causing delays on the Frank Perkins Parkway this morning (Tuesday).

Two swans were reported on the southbound carriageway which was disrupting traffic heading towards Stanground.

One was reportedly injured.

Traffic was also very slow on the A1 between Sibson and Water Newton and on the A47 westbound from Thorney, the AA was reporting.

Police have now confirmed that the parkway and A1 delays have now cleared.
