Frank Perkins Parkway closed in Peterborough over concerns for person

The Frank Perkins Parkway was closed due to police concerns for a person's welfare.

The parkway was shut in both directions between Boongate and Oxney Road due to “reports of concern for a man on a road bridge,” a police spokesman said.

Stagecoach diverted its Services 4, 37 and 63 while the road was closed.

The road has now reopened.
