Fire crews release man from van after A47 crash in Peterborough

A man was released from a van after a crash on the A47 this morning.

Fire crews were called out at 7.20am to the single vehicle crash on the A47 near Thorney.

Crews arrived to find a vehicle had left the road and was in a nearby field.

The firefighters released the man from the van and left him in the care of the ambulance service which took him to hospital.
