Elderly woman hurt in Holme collision

An elderly lady was hurt after a crash in Holme on Monday, 26 January.

The two vehicle collision happened on Long Drove, Holme at 12.20pm.

Fire and rescue crews were called, and used specialist cutting equipment to release a woman from the car.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said the elderly woman was conscious and breathing, and after treatment at the scene she was taken to Peterborough City Hospital.
