A burst water main is forcing a road in Helpston, Peterborough to remain closed for three days.
No vehicle will be able to pass through Maxey Road in Helpston after Peterborough City Council ordered it to be closed while repairs take place.
The closure started on Wednesday (7 January) and is expected to continue until Friday (9 January).
It is not known at what time on the Friday the road will re-open although bad weather may slow down proceedings.
The road will be shut between High Street, Maxey, and Church Lane, Helpston.
Drivers are being told that an alternative route for their travels is to go through High Street, King Street and West Street or vice versa.
