A14 in Cambridgeshire closed after crash involving three lorries - several miles of queuing traffic

The crash has taken place on the Eastbound carriageway at Boxworth Services.

Queues are already back to Hemingford Grey eastbound and to the Girton interchange westbound.

Highways Officers, Cambridgeshire Police and Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service as well as paramedics are on the scene.

The air ambulance has landed at the scene and at least one person is believed to have suffered serious injuries.

The eastbound carriageway has now been shut from Fenstanton to Swavesey.

UPDATE: All lanes have now reopened
