Woman killed in serious collision with a bus in Cambridgeshire village

A woman has been killed in a collision between a bus and a car in Wilburton Road, Haddenham.

Police have confirmed the elderly woman, believed to be in her 70s, who was the driver of the car received fatal injuries.

There were five people on the bus, including the driver, and all except one were uninjured. One woman was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

A Magpas car crew and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were called to the scene at 11am, in addition to two ambulance crews and a hazardous area response team.

Wilburton Road has been closed from the junction with Twenty Pence Road and motorists are asked to avoid the area or expect delays.
