UPDATE: Roads reopen after pedestrian is killed in collision with car
Police have completed their investigations at the scene of a fatal collision in Wisbech today.
Police were called at about 10.20am today, Tuesday March 21, to Wistaria Road with reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
An ambulance crew two rapid response vehicles, an ambulance officer, and Magpas air ambulance attended and medics were on scene within two minutes of the call to treat the pedestrian but sadly they were pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed until around 3.30pm to allow a full collision investigation to take place.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the collision is asked to call the Road Policing Unit on 101.
