“The injuries are not thought to be serious or life changing.

“A 22-year-old man has been arrested and is en-route to Thorpe Wood Police Station.

“The road is likely to be closed for at least another three hours.”

Ambulance crews were called at 4.34pm to the northbound carriageway near junction 16. An ambulance crew is on scene treating a male patient.

Delays built up on the A15 and were made worse by a crash on Fletton Parkway at around 7pm which shut two lanes of the westbound carriageway but has now been cleared.
