Two injured in crash which shut Whittlesey road
Two people were injured in a crash in Whittlesey last night.
On Monday, August 27 at 6.34pm, one fire crew from Whittlesey and one crew from Stanground were called to a crash in Mill Road, Whittlesey.
Crews arrived to find two cars had been involved in a collision. One casualty was trapped inside a vehicle. Firefighters used specialist equipment to release one female casualty, who was left in the care of paramedics.
Police said one further person also sustained minor injuries in the crash.
The road was closed to allow for recovery of the two cars.
