Three pedestrians injured in collision with car in Peterborough this morning

Two children and an adult have been injured in a in a collision with a car in Peterborough this morning.

Police and ambulance crews were called today, Tuesday March 21 at 8.52am, to reports of an RTC involving multiple pedestrians on Reeves Way, Eastfield.

The East of England Ambulance Service dispatched a rapid response vehicle, ambulance officer, and two ambulance crews to assist.

Medics were on scene within three minutes of the call to assess three patients, an adult and two children.

Fortunately none had sustained any serious injuries and all were conscious and breathing.

All three have been taken to Peterborough City Hospital for further care.

The road was closed while the emergency services dealt with the incident and buses diverted.

It has now reopened.
