Serious collision shuts A47 in both directions at Wisbech

A serious crash has shut the A47 in both directions at Wisbech.

The crash has taken place over the Norfolk border, but the road is shut from the A1101 at Wisbech to the A17 near King's Lynn.

A van and a Tesco lorry are involved.

Police believe this is likely to be a lengthy closure and motorists are asked to consider alternative routes.

UPDATE: The road has now reopened as of 3.15pm.
