The crash has taken place on the southbound carriageway between Sawtry and Norman Cross.
Two of four lanes were closed while emergency services attend the scene.
The AA reported that two lorries and 'some cars' are involved in the crash.

It's causing long delays as a result and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
