Mepal woman 'will be dearly missed' after fatal collision on A10 in Cambridgeshire

Police have named a woman who died in a collision on the A10 Ely Road yesterday afternoon (27 September).

Joan Matthews, 75, of Chestnut Way, Mepal, died when the silver Honda Jazz she was driving was involved in a collision with an articulated lorry.

Her family said: “We are absolutely devastated at the loss of a wonderful Mother, mother in law, sister and grandmother.

“Loved by so many, she will be dearly missed. We would kindly ask that we can mourn this tragic loss in private.”
