A spokesman for Magpas said: “At 1:04am, Magpas Doctor Rupert Hurry and Paramedic Dan Read arrived at a rural location, north of Warboys, via the Magpas rapid response vehicle. They were called out to treat a man (in his 50’s) who was involved in a single vehicle road traffic incident.

“The Magpas medical team assessed the patient who had suffered an arm injury. They then worked alongside Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service, an East of England Ambulance Service paramedic crew and Cambridgeshire Police to move the man safely out of the car he was in - and into the back of a land ambulance.

“The Magpas team gave the patient pain relief and he was taken to Peterborough City Hospital, by land, in a stable condition.”
