Man resuscitated after going into cardiac arrest at Peterborough home

Paramedics resuscitated a man who had collapsed and gone into cardiac arrest at a Peterborough house.

Crews from The East of England Ambulance and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were called to an address in Church Street, Stanground at 12.09pm today (Monday).

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “Crews arrived within five minutes to find a man, aged in his 50s, who was unconscious and not breathing. He was in cardiac arrest.

“The crews managed to resuscitate him, and he was sedated, before being taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

“He was still in a serious condition when he arrived.”
