Emergency services at scene of fatal A14 collision
Emergency services are currently at the scene of a fatal collision on the A14.
Officers were called at 7.14am to reports of a one vehicle road traffic collision on the A14 at Alconbury, on the eastbound carriage way, half a mile before Spittals interchange.
Details are sketchy but one person has suffered fatal injuries.
The westbound carriage way is currently closed at Spittals and the eastbound carriage way is closed at Alconbury and diversions are in place.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area or expect delays.
