Child taken to hospital with serious injuries after crash

A child was taken to hospital after a serious collision in California Road, Huntingdon.

The collision involving a red Mercedes and young boy happened at about 4.20pm yesterday (Monday, August 22) near to the junction with Aspen Green and Tennison Close.

The child was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by the ambulance services with serious injuries.

The road was closed yesterday evening and anyone who witnessed the collision should call 101 and ask to speak to Sergeant Steve Andrews or a member of the Roads Policing Unit.
