A14 blocked after crash between lorry and motorbike near Huntington - queues of over an hour

A serious crash is causing delays of over an hour on the A14 near Huntingdon this morning after a crash between a lorry and a motorcycle.

There are delays of an hour reported

The crash has taken place on the eastbound carriageway near Fen Drayton.

A police spokesman said the male motorcyclist is conscious and communicative but the extent of his injuries are not yet know.

The crash took place at 7.47am on Thursday September 13 and Highways England are reporting delays of more than an hour stretching back past Huntingdon.

UPDATE: traffic has been released and the vehicles involved have been moved to the slip road for Cambridge Road towards Fen Drayton.

All lanes have been reopened, but long delays remain on the approach.
