A1 crash at Peterborough causing long delays for motorists
There are long delays on the A1 near Peterborough this afternoon following a two car crash.
The collision took place at 2.30pm and involved a Ford Fiesta and a Nissan Qashqai.
The crash has taken place on the northbound carriageway near the A47 Wansford turning and there are long delays back to Alwalton.
The road was initially blocked due to debris and traffic is still slow past the scene while the vehicles are recovered.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
