Stolen vehicle recovered and another seized after 'suspicious activity' reported in Whittlesey

Police have seized a vehicle and recovered a stolen motorcycle after reports of suspicious activity in Whittlesey overnight.

At 3.11am this morning, Thursday August 4, a member of the public saw a group of males moving a motorbike in Park Lane.

A vehicle was seen to leave soon after heading towards Ramsey Road. Officers arrived at the scene quickly and stopped a vehicle at Pondersbridge.

The vehicle was seized from the occupants as the driver had no insurance and no driving licence.

A short time later a motor bike was found on Love Lane. Checks revealed that the bike had been stolen.

Enquiries are ongoing into this incident.
