Dozens of former Peterborough railway workers were taken back in time at a reunion at the Nene Valley Railway Steam Gala this weekend.
More than 60 former staff at the New England Depot attended the reunion on Sunday, telling stories of the golden age of steam trains.
There was also the chance for families to see the huge locomotives up close, and take a ride on some of the trains.
Jerry Thurston, from Nene Valley Railway, said: “It was an absolutely brilliant weekend for everyone involved.
“The gala was a great start to the year for Nene Valley Railway. It was well attended all weekend.”
