Special tea served to highlight Peterborough group
A strawberry cream tea event was held last month to raise awareness for Peterborough Association of the Blind.
The sun shone on the event where the strawberry cream teas were enjoyed, followed by competitions and raffles.
Held in the grounds and home of trustee Martin Lucas, a few members together with the committee were joined by the president of the Whittlesey Lions Club, Steve Palmer, who presented a cheque for £200 from fundraising carried out by the club.
Money raised will go towards the monthly walking group, just one of many groups organised by the PAB.
PAB would like to express their gratitude to Susan and Martin Lucas for opening up their home for this event, trustee Norma Wildman and to all the volunteers who gave up their time for this worthy cause.
