Centre director at Queensgate Shopping Centre Mark Broadhead said: “On Saturday at 6.15pm, an electrical fire was discovered in the shopping centre’s sprinkler plant room.

“It was quickly brought under control and the room was declared safe at 6.59pm. We are now working with UK Power Networks to determine the cause of the fire.
