Nursery children were given lessons in how to stay safe near roads.
The store manager at Avis Cambridge visited pupils at Sunflower Seed Pre-School in Peterborough as part of Road Safety Week, to help host the school’s Beep Beep! Day, an initiative by charity Brake, designed to help educate children on the importance of road safety.
A busy afternoon of activities ended with a road safety poster competition, judged by Oliver Jones from Avis.
School Manager of Sunflower Seed Pre-School, Kirsty Wislawski, said: “It’s been great to work with our local Avis store during Road Safety Week. The children have loved taking part, and we will continue to build on the valuable lessons learnt during our Beep Beep! Day.”
