The East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is inviting cyclists to ride for their lives at Ferry Meadows on Sunday, June 28.
Families, businesses and lone riders all are welcome to cycle the family-friendly 15km route through the grounds in honour of EAAA’s 15th anniversary.
The course is split between tarmac tracks and off-road gravel paths and is easily manageable for riders of all abilities.
The course will be marshalled all along its length so everyone is looked after, and there will water bottles and energy bars handed out to participants who need a quick respite during the ride.
Area fundraising manager Chris Donaldson said: “We are delighted to bring this successful annual event to Peterborough, making it accessible to as many people as possible.
“I will certainly be riding alongside our supporters as we try to boost our funds and help the charity’s essential emergency work throughout the region.”
Entry costs £10 per single rider or £20 for a family or a corporate team.
To join the ride, call the Peterborough fundraising office on 01733 367208 or register online by visiting www.eaaa.org.uk.
