Two school pupils have bagged themselves the top prize in a competition run by the Tesco Extra store in Peterborough.

Store manager, Matt Rose from the store in Hampton, invited pupils from Hampton Vale Primary School and Hampton Hargate Primary School to design a poster around the theme of safety.

With the help of his team, Matt selected Vaisakh Singh, aged nine, from Hampton Vale Primary School, and Keonie Chilvers, aged seven, from Hampton Hargate Primary School as the winners.

The winning designs have been printed on to limited edition hessian bags and will be given away in-store during the run-up to Christmas. Both pupils also won a £25 Tesco gift card for themselves, as well as a £250 donation for their school.
