Pupils get hands on with Spanish culture

Have your say

In late May, a group of 24 pupils from Oundle School spent eight days in Tarifa, Spain improving their language skills and acquiring a greater knowledge and appreciation for Spanish culture.

Whilst in Spain, pupils had Spanish lessons each morning at the villa they were staying in, followed by activities in the afternoon including surfing at El Palmar beach, walking to Bolonia beach and beach Olympiad.

The trip also included excursions to Seville and Jerez. In Seville, pupils visited a local school as well as some of the more important monuments.

Pupil, Michael Woo said: “I got a lot out of this trip. The places that we visited were really interesting and we had some real fun. Learning Spanish whilst in Spain was fantastic.”
