Popular car show set to be a roaring success

The popular event will take place on Sunday, running from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free of charge and families alike can enjoy an array of motor-themed fun.

A great family day out, the show will feature a large display of both classic and modern cars, there will be a live car auction for those who attend on the day, followed by a special flypast from a RAF Hawker Hurricane aircraft - the first operational RAF aircraft capable of a top speed in excess of 300 mph.

Alongside the Car Show, will be the fifth Stamford Car Show Run, a planned route through the delightful Stamford and Lincolnshire countryside, arriving at The Meadows.

All 500 spaces for the actual show have now been taken, but for those who would still like to feature their car on the day, they still have the option of arriving after 11am with a ‘one off, one on’ policy.

Once again, show organisers, Stamford Round Table will be raising funds for a number of local causes in the community. The charitable group organises a number of fundraising events throughout the year, with Stamford Car Show being one of the main highlights of the year.
