Travellers have pitched up by football pitches in Stanground.
Caravans have appeared at Thurning Avenue and Peterborough City Council has announced it will be serving a notice to leave tomorrow (Tuesday, August 16).
It follows several other recent examples of travellers setting up encampments in Peterborough. Last week, travellers broke a padlock to move into Ringwood in Bretton where there are also football pitches.
