Travellers move onto land after cutting padlock off gate
Travellers have moved onto land in Ringwood, Bretton, after cutting the padlock off a gate.
The site has proved popular in the past with travellers and Peterborough City Council said it will now be reviewing the defences around the land to prevent further encampments.
The council has today (Tuesday, August 9) served notice on the travellers to leave.
Travellers who have moved onto the Embankment have also today been served a notice to leave.
