Top rating for Cross Keys Homes

Housing association Cross Keys Homes has retained the highest possible rating from the Government's housing regulator, the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), following its recent in-depth assessment.

During the summer, the HCA determined how well governed and financially viable the housing provider is.

The judgement saw Cross Keys rated as G1 for governance and V1 for viability, the highest possible ratings.

Claire Higgins, Cross Keys chief executive, said: “This is fantastic news for us all at CKH, especially given the challenges the housing sector is currently facing.

“It is a real testament to the hard work of our boards and employees, and highlights the ways in which we are getting it right for our partners, investors and customers.

“It also means we face the future with a sound foundation and will be able to continue with our plans to build at least 400 homes per year, as well as delivering our life-enhancing services.”
