Thousands of Peterborough people register for postal votes for EU referendum
As of mid-afternoon today (Wednesday, June 8), 22,035 people had registered with Peterborough City Council for postal votes for the forthcoming EU referendum.
Hundreds of people yesterday also registered to vote. The council said it was the busiest day it had seen and was well above the normal figure.
