The Shadow Home Secretary visited Peterborough to discuss immigration with residents.
Labour MP Yvette Cooper was speaking at the The Millennium Centre, Dickens Street on Thursday, 8 January.
Ms Cooper was joined by Labour’s parliamentary candidate for Peterborough, Cllr Lisa Forbes at the morning session ahead of the forthcoming General Election, set to take place later this year.
A number of residents, including labour supporter Phil Pumphrey turned up to the event to meet the shadow cabinet member.
Members of the public were able to ask questions to Ms Cooper who sits on the opposition front bench in the House of Commons.
