Residents in Cardea are needed to help manage a new community centre in their neighbourhood.
The city council is seeking expressions of interest from local parties wishing to take on the management of the Cardea Community Pavilion located in Stanground, Peterborough.
The building will include changing rooms, a meeting room, community room, kitchen, toilets and car parking facilities. It will also have a right to use attached playing fields (terms to be agreed).
It is anticipated that the pavilion will be handed over to the successful group to operate from next year after construction is complete.
The council has identified the Cardea Community Pavilion as a suitable building for community asset transfer. Under the terms of the Community Asset Transfer Strategy, the council is inviting expressions of interest from local parties who wish to be considered for taking on the management responsibilities.
Full guidance on the procedures will be provided to any interested parties. Expressions need to be submitted by Friday 14 August 2015.
Expressions of interest should be sent via email to email@example.com
