Off-peak road closures have been scheduled to allow for essential repairs in Peterborough city centre.
The works on Vineyard Road and adjoining St John’s Street are due to start on Monday, August 17 and run for five days, using off peak closures of 9.30am to 3.30pm.
Signs giving notice of the road closures have been put in place and the signed diversion route will be using Boongate over the A1139 roundabout continuing on Boongate to Fengate, then along Fengate to Bishop’s Road back to Vineyard Road.
This will be reversed for journeys in the opposite direction.
The council said works have been held off until the school holidays to minimise disruption.
