Housing venture is agreed by council
A joint housing venture has been agreed between Peterborough City Council and Cross Keys Homes, the city's largest housing association.
The council will put £100,000 towards the operating costs of the venture and £20 million of capital funding has been set aside which can be invested.
The company will have the power to acquire land, develop homes and sell completed accommodation.
Councillor Peter Hiller, cabinet member for growth, planning, housing and economic development, said: “We are continuing to do what’s right for the taxpaying residents of Peterborough.”
