The party for Ted was at Leeds Hall in Eye where his granddaughter Megan Cavender (Owen’s mum) sang the Bob Dylan song ‘Make you feel my love’. Megan said: “He looked happy and had lots of cards.”

Megan featured in the Peterborough Telegraph in 1987 celebrating her third birthday with playgroup friends in Crowland before having to fly back to Canada after her 10 week visit came to an end.
