Pedestrians and cyclists had a tougher journey to work this morning after a Peterborough riverside path flooded.
The path, which runs alongside the River Nene near Asda at Rivergate, was blocked by the water following heavy rain this week.
Some people decided to brave the deep water - either getting wet feet, or starting a precarious balancing act on their bike, while others decided to take a longer route to work.
Twitter users suggested a live stream of people’s reactions to the water, after thousands of people watched video footage of a puddle in the north east on the internet.
There are more rain showers forecast for Peterborough later today, although they are not predicted to be heavy.
