Peterborough garage burned out in arson attack

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade and Dogsthorpe were called to a garage fire in Clifton Avenue, West Town on Sunday, February 14 at 12.50am.

Firefighters were met with a fire affecting three garages and, wearing breathing apparatus, they used jets and hose reels to extinguish it.

Crews had returned to their stations by 2.10am.

The cause of the fire was deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
