Peterborough fire crews tackle digger fire

Fire crews helped extinguish a digger which was on fire.

Crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to Eyebury Road in Eye at 2.06pm yesterday (Wednesday).

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving a digger and extinguished it using a hose reel.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
