Peterborough Feels the Force at TV and film convention

The force was with Peterborough on Saturday at the annual TV and film convention.

The usual array of top fancy dress costumes were on show for Feel the Force Day at the KingsGate Conference Centre on Saturday, with Star Wars characters including Chewbacca featuring prominently.

The event began in 2013 and was originally aimed for 20 deaf-blind people, but 400 people came along.

Since then it has continued to grow.

Special guests who attended this time included Eastenders actor John Altman, Spencer Wilding, who has appeared in Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy and Dr Who, and Mike Fielding from The Mighty Boosh.
