Royal visit in Peterborough as Duke of Gloucester tours the city

The Duke of Gloucester visited Peterborough on Thursday.

The Queen’s cousin visited the popular Railworld Wildlife Haven near Oundle Road, Gurdwara Baba Budha Sahib Ji (Sikh temple) in Royce Road and Faizan E Madina mosque in Gladstone Street, while he also spoke to youngsters from Nene Valley Primary School. Prince Richard appeared to enjoy his tours of the different locations and familiarised himself with the local customs at the religious buildings, He was joined on his visit around the city by Deputy Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire Jaspal Singh and met Mayor of Peterborough Cllr Gul Nawaz.
