Peterborough’s Truckfest roars into life

Truckfest roared into life over the bank holiday weekend with scores of people visiting the East of England Showground to take in the annual spectacle.

The event normally takes place in May, but was moved to the August Bank Holiday due to the COVID pandemic.

COVID safe measures were put in place to keep people as safe as possible during their visit, with a one way system, hand santizer available across the site, and a reduced capacity.

However, while some things were a little different, there was still the same range of popular attractions to keep families entertained - from the spectacular monster truck displays to a variety of shops and stalls.

Visitors were even able to take a ride on the back of one of the giant monster trucks.
