Peterborough director of public health shares top tips for new home workers

Residents have been given top tips on how to work productively from home during the coronavirus crisis.

Dr Liz Robin, Director of Public Health for Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council, urged home workers to look after themselves during the pandemic.

Dr Robin said: “We are all grateful to the fantastic front line staff who are working in our hospitals, social care, food production, supermarkets, and other essential services.

“But many of us are also working at home, and that too is essential to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

“The change in routine can be quite challenging, and in the councils where I work we have put together some tips to work at home successfully.”

The tips include making a routine to stick to while working from home - from getting up and getting dressed at a regular time, to taking regular breaks and keeping in touch with other members of your work team.
