Every Thursday during lockdown thousands of Peterborough residents stood on their doorsteps, balconies and at their windows to clap, cheer and make noisein the clap for carers event at 8pm on Thursday evenings.

The weekly event gives residents the chance to say a public thank you to the workers who are putting their health on the line to keep the country running during the pandemic.

The Peterborough Telegraph would love to see your pictures and videos of how your house and street pay tribute. You can email [email protected] to share your images.
