The motorbike was being ridden from Market Deeping towards Hop Pole and police are appealing for anyone who saw the red Kawasaki motorbike prior to the collision or the incident itself to get in touch. Officers believe the rider may have been riding with another motorbike, possibly a green Kawasaki and would like anyone who has any information, including dash cam footage to contact us.

Detective Sergeant Luke Wells, Lead Investigator for the Serious Collision Investigations Unit, said: “I am appealing to the rider of the green motorbike who may have been riding with the red Kawasaki to make contact with the Police directly. I believe this rider may be a key witness to the investigation.”

Officers have returned to the scene this morning as part of the investigation, and are searching the adjacent field and water filled ditch for property.
