Nominations open for town's citizen of the year awards

Nominations are open for the Whittlesey Citizenship Award and Young Citizen of the Year award.

Both awards are for people who have helped in the community, undertaken charity work, or achieved something beyond the call of duty.

The citizenship award is for people aged 18 and over with the young citizen award for under 18s. You must live in Whittlesey, Coates, Eastrea, Turves or Pondersbridge.

The person’s name, address and reason for nomination should be sent to: Susan Evans, Clerk & RFO to the Council, Whittlesey Town Council, Grosvenor House, Grosvenor Road, Whittlesey, PE7 1AQ by February 29.

Please mark the envelope Whittlesey Citizenship Award or Whittlesey Young Citizen Committee.
